Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates a century of women's watchmaking with "The Collectibles."
Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates a century of women's horology by showcasing ten rare vintage watches, all powered by the famous Duoplan movement, in its boutique on Place Vendôme in Paris, until July 27, 2025. A refined tribute to miniaturization and technical audacity in women's watchmaking.
The Duoplan: A Mechanical Achievement for Avant-Garde Watches

Invented in 1925, Duoplan ushered in a new era in horology: the era of precision miniaturization. Thanks to an ingenious two-level architecture, this movement allows for smaller case sizes without compromising on reliability. It opens up vast creative possibilities for women's watches, where technique meets elegance (jewelry-watches, secret pieces, reversed dials, or asymmetric designs). In 1929, Jaeger-LeCoultre took a significant step forward with the Caliber 101, the smallest mechanical movement in the world, still in production today. The Collection 101 from Jaeger-LeCoultre now offers various sublime models (Reine, Snowdrop, Bangle, Secret), available for sale.
Ten Rare and Bold Pieces

The 4th Capsule of "The Collectibles" brings together ten iconic watches, all produced between the 1930s and 1970s, and meticulously restored by the Manufacture's heritage experts. Among them, the Duoplan Tubogas (circa 1950) stands out with its sculptural geometric structure, while the Duoplan Chaîne (1941) shines with its wide-link yellow gold bracelet. Some pieces, such as the High Jewelry Secret Watch from 1960 in white gold, set with diamonds and sapphires, reach the highest levels of refinement. More unexpected are the Duoplan Tuile (1939), with its perpendicular dial, and the highly functional Duoplan Driver from the 1930s, designed for driving.
Each watch is accompanied by a Jaeger-LeCoultre archive extract, a new matching leather strap, and, where possible, its original elements (box, documents, strap).
