«Taste of France» is a non-profit-making organization aiming to offer the Amercain people a taste of French culture without having them to plan a trip to Europe. It all started last year at Pier 54, when the 36 year old entrepreneur, Enrique Gonzales, decided to share with the NY citizens some culinary delights from the different French regions. During two days this great advertisement for "La douce France" will take place in one of the most frequented parks of New York City, The Bryant Park, between Grand Central and Times Square.
The first edition of the event was a great success and attracted thousands of people. This year, «Taste of France» sets the bar even higher, no less than 100 000 visiters are expected to visit the event, where they will find a lot more than just fine food and cooking. VIP guests, like Laurent Fabius will also be attending. The program includes: A huge variety of French regional specialties, presented by 50 French Top Chefs, «la Promenade des Arts», a Parisian style flea market and many other French surprises to discover.
