The Curtain, London : the art of afternoon tea

To celebrate its new partnership with Penhaligon’s, the famous londonian perfumery, The Curtain, London, is serving up a delicious, Christmasafternoon tea between 21st November and 4th January. This subtle beverage has been directly inspired by the iconic fragance, Halfeti. A selection of cocktails created by Federico Doldi, beverage director at The Curtain, will complement the afternoon tea. The pastry team crafted a menu to pay homage to this perfume and its most emblematic notes : saffron macaroons, an intense black cherry jam, bergamot-infused frangipane tart and an array of delicacies like scones, delicate finger sandwiches, including Red Rooster deviled eggs, the signature dish of Marcus Samuelsson, the executive Chef.

Josephine Baker, slave then artist during the 1930s, gave her name to the new club in Paris, which
is nested in the «Salon Nijinski », at the top floor of the Theatre du Chatelet. This clubbing venue sounds like fun, creativeness but also LGBTI+ rights advocacy. The new theater's directing board choose Arnaud Frisch, founder of many parisian clubs including Silencio, which he designed with David Lynch. Josephine is the result of a new collaboration with English designer Ben Kelly, and with Virgil Abloh, the artistic designer for Men of Louis Vuitton.

Cuba is the place to be for Christmas !
