"The new Speed Twin 1200 RS is more focused, more engaging, and offers even more precise responses. It is designed for riders who want the best in dynamic performance, with a classic sporty look," announced Steve Sargent, Chief Product Officer of Triumph. This is the promise of the new Speed Twin, which will be available in January 2025.

Even more dynamic performance

Speed and handling enthusiasts: its power has now increased to 5HP, offering more character and sporty sensations. This power is paired with a safer and more dynamic ride thanks to improvements in the chassis (particularly with its Marzocchi fork and rear shocks), which enhance maneuverability and provide more balanced cornering. The optimized cornering ABS system and traction control also improve road grip.

The Speed Twin 1200 features three riding modes: road, rain, and the new sport mode, which refines throttle response. Another innovation is the Triumph Shift Assist, which enhances the bike's power and character.

A sporty and contemporary style

The Speed Twin 1200 is designed for riders seeking the best in dynamic performance, with a classic sporty look. The design has been modernized to blend a contemporary style with Triumph's DNA. A higher and more forward handlebar, footpegs positioned further back: the ergonomics are sportier. The fuel tank is more sculpted, with deep lines and cutouts at the front. The side panels have been modernized and integrate with the new throttle body covers, which feature a brushed aluminum finish. The engine casings are thinner and more angular, and more compact silencers add to the timeless beauty of the exhaust line. The reshaped seat is narrower at the front, making it easier for the rider to position themselves. And let’s not forget the new aluminum wheels!

The Speed Twin 1200 RS comes in two versions: Baja Orange or Sapphire Black. It comes with brushed aluminum front and rear fenders. Over 50 original accessories can be added (customers can configure their own motorcycle or learn more at triumphmotorcycles.fr).
