My taps are rich!
Since our bathrooms play such a central role in our lives, whether they are just transitory spaces, or places that are the cradles of our well being,we need to ensure that the fittings are choice, so as not to blush for them when entertaining colleagues from yachts and palaces. In a word our bathrooms cry out for THG and would not choosy when faced with a Jean-Claude Delépine design
350 m2 of floor space
Alleluia! Fans of luxury, haute couture bathrooms from Jean-Claude Delépine now have their very own 350 m2 show-room on the Boulevard Haussmann. Here they can confidently spend their 70 000 euros (at the very least) on baths, basins and taps that will from now on decorate their bathrooms.
Designed to be a light and airy, the space brings together a range of twelve
different looks for your bathroom; retro, modern, neo-baroque, zen modern or pure and simple luxury, to each their style. Not to be missed is Métropolis, an unlikely mix of Lalique Crystal and rhodium plated silver set with diamonds or the pared down, avant-garde style of Bambou with its minimalist tap and handles in clear, black or amber Lalique crystal.
Design is everything
To enable the taps to take pride of place, naturally the company needed to call on the services of the greatest French and American designers.THG therefore asked Jamie Drake and Pierre-Yves Rochon to take on the task.
Respectively the designers of the Profil -two crosses with a rectilinear tapand Frivole -porcelain from Bernardaud with fine silver scrolling on worked metal- these models offer a taste of the neo-classic or elegant contemporary styles. We are sure to be thinking of the two designers as, from now on, we rinse our hands in cool clear water.
