Royal Windsor, in the heart of fashion

Some hotels call famous fashion designers for their establishments. In Brussels, the Royal Windsor has had the idea to ask several Belgian designers to decorate each room on their image. The result is impressive.
Launched 3 years ago, this concept of Fashion Rooms is still trendy. On the Grand-Place de Bruxelles (Belgium), the Royal Windsor has had the idea which disrupted the world of classical hotel business: give the renovation of 12 rooms and suites to 12 fashion designers, here Belgian. From Jean-Paul Knott to Mademoiselle Lucien, Pascale Kervan to Kaat Tilley, each creator has revisited "his" room according to his own tastes, revealing his true personality as well as his creativeness. As if this room was the one that he (or she) would be dreaming of during his world trips. Each artist has thought the room has his own, so no one looks like the others. The excessive ideas of the ones and the minimal style of the others bring pretty surprising results. So, the "Sea Bride" (picture), imagined by Kaat Tilley, which offers an amazing view on the Grand-Place, is made out of Murano glass. This bed looking like a sculpture is like a fairy taile set. The other last ones created by Xavier Delcour and Christian Wijnants, will be inaugurated during the first days of spring.
A trip through creation, for reasonable prices: between 300 and 450 €.
