Yellowboam by Veuve Clicquot: The collector's bottle

To celebrate 130 years of the famous small yellow label of the Brut Carte Jaune, Veuve Clicquot have come up with the Yellowboam. Attention, only 3 600 individually numbered bottles will be available for sale for the modest sum of € 1500...
Life through yellow tinted glasses

If anyone associates yellow with the regrettable temptations of adultery, the yellow is no less than one the principle symbol of heraldry, synonymous with nobility and prestige. In order to convince you, it is necessary to point out the place that was given it in ancien civilisations: sacred fire of Apollo, radiance of the god Râ, the symbol of power of Bouddha! Therefore, the favourite colour of Brut Carte Jaune, Veuve Clicquot is difficult to leave out on their tribute bottle: the Yellowboam. Vibrant and eteranal, the yellow packaging is a Jeroboam collector. On the menu: 3 litres of intense Champagne dominated by Pinot noir (50-55%) and considered as one of the most complex non-vintage bruts.

An ultra limited edition

For their 130 years of good and loyal service, the Brut Carte Jaune are offering themselves a make over. The 3 600 individually numbered bottles have all been entirely hand made, from the vine to the packaging. The yellow paper label has been replaced by finely worked tickets in a selection of exotic leathers, among the most precious: shagreen, ostrich and alligator. Each bottle has then been sealed by a real 22.4 carat foil whilst the cork sports a cap platted with 24 carat gold. One thing is certain? The collectors will not regret this investment. After all, you are not 130 years old every day!
