At first glance, you could easily mistake HP TouchSmart IQ810 for iMac’s umpteenth clone but in a lacquered black version, with its central unit integrated into the monitor and its design screen that comes close to 25 inches. And yet with this latest gadget for geeks, not only do we gain considerable extra space, but we also reap the full benefits of the digital revolution, just at our fingertips. Photos, agenda, music, video...now, this entire little world can be accessed in a highly sensitive manner, simply by stroking the screen like we do for a GPS or an iPhone. Of course, for the time being, we have to leave aside, our ingrained reflex to instinctively reach for the keyboard and the mouse (still present nevertheless, and increasingly flatter), but once we have tested out this new mode of expression, and leave digital Post-its to the family on the screen rather than on the refrigerator door, then we are well on our way to forgetting the very existence of keys ...
