There is always something going on at the Invalides

While this monument pays everlasting homage to Napoleon, who, moreover, is currently the focus of another passionate exhibition at the Museum of the Invalides, the Court of Honour of the Invalides also pays host to other events, much more... Futurist in fact! Time for a sneak preview of the "Concept cars" exhibition that will be opening its doors shortly.
A very unique exhibition indeed

Admittedly, at one time or the other, we have all fallen under the spell of those futurist cars, straight out of the inspirations - or rather sheer madness?- of visionary engineers... That’s because car manufacturers also design models that you won’t find with the dealer around the corner (understandably, much to our deep regret !). But we can console ourselves at this exhibition of "concept cars" presented in the Court of Honour of the national Hotel of the Invalides, in a transparent facility covering 3000 m2! This year’s exhibition promises to be even more successful than in the past.

Reward the most beautiful projects

A jury composed of key representatives from the world of sports car, architecture, fashion, design, art and the press, who all share a passion for the car, met on 9 December 2008 and the award winners will be honoured on 10 February 2009 at the Invalides during the inaugural ceremony of the 24th edition of the International Automobile Festival. The award-winning vehicles will then be exhibited and revealed to the public in the Court of Honour of the Invalides from 11 to 15 February 2009. Christmas will already have come and gone, but once again, our boyish and girlish streaks are bound to be rekindled.
