New versions of cult models for vintage fans or seekers of novelty that prefer a refreshing design, obviously top-range collections for the happy-few or eccentric watches for tighter budgets, timepieces will always be an attractive an investment as you can never go wrong. Reverso: Time, heads or tails
Jaeger-LeCoultre ‘s Reverso, this icon leads in the eternal high quality watch-making since its legendary reversibility technology attracted all of the polo players in the 1930s, concerned about protecting the cover glass of their watch. Today a new size is adapted to male wrists, but not necessarily sporty ones... What is of essence here are the pure and geometric shapes, greatly inspired by the Art deco style and a double satin-like finishing as well as Clous de Paris dial. A classical watch that is always in style.

The Riviera in XXL-size and fashion
The Riviera, Baume & Mercier’s figureheadfor more than 25 years, apparently grew a mile this past winter… The racy-sporty legend has made a comeback this season set with a dial diameter nearly 45 mm (vs 43 mm for previous versions). In a totally new non-chronograph version, the massive steel watchcase, an ergonomic design topped by the famous dodecagonal glass, opens onto a black, sophisticated dial with luminescent Roman figures, providing hour, minute and second functions as well as the display of the date at the 3 o’clock position in a large vertical area. The entirely, satin-like finishing of the eyeglass and the case completes a clearly sturdy and sporty look. The essence of masculinity if there ever was one...

Extreme Tourbillon Régulateur Manufacture: in 18 copies, not even one more!
It took three years to complete this model...! The Alpina leading model, the Extrême Régulateur Tourbillon Manufacture, comes back armed with a new model, the Tourbillon Régulateur equipped with an escape wheel and lever in silicon. The result : a high level of precision, resistance to shock, sturdiness and reliability, the Swiss watch and its strong case (48 mm in diameter) in black DLC titanium, with black ceramic glass, and luminescent white play needles, with its look, it can get more sporty, it plays the card of the extreme. The Oris BC4 Flight Timer: The dashboard watch
This is undoubtedly the consecration for the very high-tech OrisBC4 Flight Timer. Hoisting its name in 2009 as the first place winner of the very prestigious 2009International Reddot Design Prize – created in 1955 by the Essen design museum in Germany – this new "best of the best" was ahead of some 3230 competitors and joins the stars of its illustrious predecessors Siemens, Apple and BMW at the head. The jury was undoubtedly won over by its high degree of innovation, its functionalities and its aesthetic side. This should finish by lifting any last doubts we might have.

Milus in the firmament
Among the watches awarded this year, it was obviously unthinkable to economise on the Tirion TriRetrograde Seconds Skeleton signed Milus. A rare edition limited to 38 copies which should rapidly find a buyer, the effect the Couture Design Award obliges! Let us not forget that this model has just won with flying colours the first award in the “Best of Timepieces”, categories of the ceremony of the Couture Design Awards this past 30 May in Las Vegas; a real institution in existence for over 11 years.
