The Portrait Suite Rome
The Portrait Suites, this very small hotel of the very great Ferragamo Italian fashion family is ideally located at Via Condotti, the most chic business street of Rome. It is situated above the eponymous masculine shop and just a few meters from the famous Spanish steps of the Piazza di Spagna. And this is not a first. The LungarnoGroup that manages the family business has already created four of the most beautiful hotels of Florence: the Lungarno, the Gallery Hotel Art, the Continentale and the two Lungarno.

The beautiful old facade houses 14 rooms on six floors with an absolutely modern decor signed Michele Bonan. A « house » decorator, as he had already conceived the interior decor of the Ferragamo Florentine hotels. Clear floors, bright rugs, extravagant upholstery… The armchairs are covered with grey flannel and coffee tables with wild boar skins. Old shoe models are placed under glass, like sculptures and homage is paid in the form of photo expos dedicated to the elegant star customers of the 20-30’s that used to buy their clothes from the creator.
