The Saint-Roch

Comfort and style above all else... Newest addition to the Tournier family hotels, the Saint-Roch is a perfect illustration of what will be the new generation of Boutique Hotels up in the mountains. Breathtaking.

If you are in to a more modern kind of luxury, do not hesitate to visit the Saint-Roch. Big chalet of stone and wood, this new gem of Courchevel is located right at the foot of the Belle-Côte ski run, near the Alpine Garden. After the superb Cheval Blanc, legitimate pride of Bernard Arnault, and Les Airelles, redefined by StephaneCourbit, the Saint-Roch has established itself as one of the up and coming destinations in this resort. With this recent addition, the Tournier family has done its best to celebrate with a flourish, the 50th anniversary of its flagship, the famous Lana. How do you design a snug and cosy place, conforming to the spirit of the times, without repeating the score from l'Auberge duCheval Blanc (the other one, the one from the operetta in Chatelet)? By choosing a design artfully blending contempopary and traditional. With a great use of space by Eric Tournier, Noëlle Bonnemaison has created a truly unique design. The design is luminous for the 5 rooms with a dominance of light shades, warm for the 14 suites, sumptuous for the 400 m2 flat...

One is flabbergasted by the opulence of noble and antique fabrics chosen by the decorator. The oak parquet floors, the beams, the fireplaces were retrieved from old farms and have found their new lease in life. The divans and sofas are dressed in velvet, the walls covered in leather and the king size beds are curled up under fur throws... Beautiful artefacts, quality products, and the latest high-tech inventions to match the huge black mirrors in the flat that turn out to be the latest generation of heaters. The bathrooms are finished in metal and mother of pearl, have earthenware tiled floors imitating crocodile skin and are equipped with mirror TVs and hose shaped heaters. And then there are the hammams and rain showers...

If the brand new adjoining chalet (5 rooms on 4 floors) is already booked (we are, after all, in Courchevel!!), the tycoons who have been spared by the economic crisis can treat themselves to the much talked-about Apartment: 400 m2 of elegance with alligator skin on the walls of the living room and a butler at attention 24/7. A cocoon like mountain refuge one will be inclined to leave only to go skiing down the Trois Vallées runs or to go enjoy a relaxing treatment in the Carita Spa.
