Alpha 450, the new Sony Digital SLR

It’s a great, basic camera that’s perfect for the amateur photographer. It’s similar to its older brother, the Alpha 550, who has strong following of its own but is more expensive. Nonetheless, the Alpha 450 is a camera that performs well at an attractive price.

With an Exmor™ CMOS sensor that can capture up to 14.2 megapixels, the Alpha 450 provides high quality images and can take up to 7 frames per second of continuous photos. Thanks to the 6.7cm (2.7 inches) Clear Photo LCD screen, the focus and image settings are incredibly user-friendly. The only drawback is that the screen is much smaller in comparison to the 550. However, we applaud the camera’s overall design and the generous viewfinder—all of this at a reasonable price.

Because amateur photographers are also artists!

The camera knows how to be creative with its HDR mode that automatically adjusts photo details in relation to the high or low light that exists in a single image (which can be a real headache for most of us!) And last but not least, it comes equipped with an enormous memory card that can store up to 1050 photos! Suffice to say, your friends will be looking forward to seeing your holiday photos!
