Carte Blanche on Park Avenue
New York, NY – Phillips de Pury & Company will open its new flagship at 450 Park Avenue with the first Carte Blanche Auction on November 8th.
The Carte Blanche Sale is comprised of 33 works with a low estimate of approximately $ 80,000,000. Philippe Ségalot, former head of Christie’s contemporary art department, has agreed to start Carte Blanche, a new initiative in which Phillips de Pury will invite a collector, dealer, artist or museum curator to put together one sale. The inaugural sale by Philippe Ségalot will feature works of great significance by Andy Warhol, Maurizio Cattelan, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Takashi Murakami, and others … The Carte Blanche sale will be the first time Andy Warhol’s "Men in Her Life" will appear for auction.
