"Everyone sees luxury from different points of view." For some it’s the definition of Voltaire "something superfluous but essential" translated by the expression "it’s luxury". My definition is quite different. A luxury product is a product that ages well.
Luxury, true luxury, is a quality label, know-how, it is a product that represents a personal pleasure and not an ostentatious pleasure.
The nightmare is luxury defined by price in order to justify a premium “label". "My dream of luxury would be a combination of high technology and noble materials: the future aeroplane Solar Impulse for personal use"
