Check into one of 51- thatched 2 or 3 bedroom villas in lush secluded garden settings. Restaurants
Locally grown organic food is served in three à la carte restaurants: All dishes are calorie and fat counted, a great idea. As well as excellent world wines, there are low-calorie “drinks of the day” with the beneficial properties explained in the daily “Sundial” programme of events. Private dining can be arranged on the beach or in the gardens.
Amaya showcases a fusion of Dominican flavours and International cuisine
Indigo bistro and Sea-Side bar serves grills and seafood, sometimes there are beach barbecues. And Maroon for European inspired world fusion dishes with a fine international wine cellar. Don't expect Michelin star cuisine, think more along the lines of what Dominican chefs think is European cuisine, not always a success.
Boutiques
There are several boutiques and a businesscentre in a quiet crescent shaped courtyard, stocked with designer clothes, postcards, gifts, cigars. The coffee shop (part of the all- inclusive package) serves delicious fresh baked goodies, fruit plates and healthy sandwhiches for between meal snacks as well as excellent locally grown coffee. The round lobby bar, a buzzing meeting place for guests, especially at tea-time, serves all kinds of beverages, cocktails and cookies as well as “tea-of-the-day”, say, cinnamon, date, ginger, as well as freshly cut herbs and plant infusions.
Yarari Spa & Wellness Centre
Sumptuous massages such as “Neuro-Aroma” inspired by Siam and India. The techniques performed in this floral massage combine oriental wisdom offering a complete head-to-toe massage using the therapist's expert hands and floral sachets filled with a blend of seeds and flowers.
