La Sivolière: a hotel with spirit
A complete relooking from the entrance to the rooms
La Sivolière, which obtained its fifth star in 2010, is a charming hotel, set in an exceptional location, featuring 24 rooms, 11 suites and a luxury apartment. La Sivolière chose interior designer Tristan Auer to redecorate the hotel because of his elegant, yet resolutely contemporary and discreet style. After Hotel Jules in Paris, the Almyra in Cyprus and working with Philippe Starck and Christian Liaigre, the interior designer created a blend of tradition and modernity. While respecting the Savoyard heritage by retaining the old timber and warm character of the rooms, he introduced at the same time a discreet range of contemporary furnishings. For example, mirrored bedside lamps with silk shades and black lacquer tables with sanded wooden legs combined with the aged timber wall panels and the warmth of heavy, brandy-coloured, velour curtains. In the lobby, salon bar and restaurant a whole new world has been created, using innovative good-quality materials and specially designed furniture, such as the incredible sofa in the shape of a mountain and waterfall, by Gaetano Pesce, which adds a touch of humour to the salon. A style bound to seduce a demanding clientele passionate about exclusiveness.
The "plus" of La Sivolière
We know that the hotel’s strength resides in the art of receiving. And in this field, Director of La Sivolière, Florence Carcassonne, - a name decidedly predestined to make tourism dance – is a master. After having worked in prestigious luxury hotels such as the Georges V in Paris, Martinez in Cannes and the Royal Mansour in Morocco, the inventor of the "little extras that make all the difference”, leads the way. With IPhones in all hotel suites, a "Sensitive Floor"- with interactive 3D games for children and musical entertainment with DJ Cécile Togni, an exclusive in-house ski shop, a fully transformed wellbeing area and dog sitting service, the hotel offers a truly 5-star service. Icing on the Savoyard cake: the entire team of La Sivolière, loyal from the first hour, is coming back this winter for its 5th season. After a day on the slopes, guests can sit by the fire and enjoy the light and flavoursome cuisine by chef Billal Amrani at the mountain-themed 1850 restaurant. La Silvolière is a unique and exclusive retreat, destined for those seeking pure luxury and unrivalled comfort, close to the stars …
