Ice Driving in Lapland

The need for speed? Go to Swedish Laponia (Lapland) for the ultimate ice driving experience. Thrills guaranteed!
Hockenheim Ring on ice!

And it's off for the 6th season of Ice Driving in Lapland. The concept? From January to Marc,h an Ice Driving training is offered on the frozen lake of Arjeplog (80 km from the Arctic circle). Here, a team of motor sports experts have designed the ultimate playground for motoring enthusiasts: every year life-size reproductions of the sport’s top race tracks are created, such as the Castelet (3.8 km) and the latest novelty this season, the Hockenheim Ring(4.7 km). For 2 to 4 days, neophyte or experienced drivers will discover the joys of sliding on ice behind the wheel of exclusive sports cars sometimes flirting with 400 HP (Mitsubishi EVO IX, Porsche Cayman S, PorscheGT3 and the BMW 328), all under the guidance of experienced instructors. The high North is all yours!

The alternative to the sleigh...

So it’s official, Arjeplog, a region full of Great Lakes at the foot of the Scandinavian Alps, now offers an alternative to snow biking and sled dog rides. In this landscape of frozen lakes as far as the eye can see, adventurers can now combine speed and slides without any risk for your driving license ... An unforgettable experience not to miss.
