And it's off for the 6th season of Ice Driving in Lapland. The concept? From January to Marc,h an Ice Driving training is offered on the frozen lake of Arjeplog (80 km from the Arctic circle). Here, a team of motor sports experts have designed the ultimate playground for motoring enthusiasts: every year life-size reproductions of the sport’s top race tracks are created, such as the Castelet (3.8 km) and the latest novelty this season, the Hockenheim Ring(4.7 km). For 2 to 4 days, neophyte or experienced drivers will discover the joys of sliding on ice behind the wheel of exclusive sports cars sometimes flirting with 400 HP (Mitsubishi EVO IX, Porsche Cayman S, PorscheGT3 and the BMW 328), all under the guidance of experienced instructors. The high North is all yours!
