Inspirational background

With an art dealer father and antique dealer mother, she grew up between New York and Paris in the worlds of art, beauty and antiques. It was in her parents’ antique jewellery shop in the Louvre des Antiquaires that she found her vocation at a very early age. Predestination, perhaps. Talent, certainly. Launching her own collection was obviously next. She is proud of never having purchased an ounce of newly refined gold. Valérie Danenberg, environmentalist ahead of her time, recycles this precious metal, as her contribution to conservation.

Haute recyclage

Having always offered her clients the option to refurbish or modernize their vintage pieces, Valerie was able to satisfy her penchant for creation and began designing original and custom pieces for her clientele. She has since opened a new boutique dedicated to her modern and period-inspired creations on 8, Rue du Bac, in the always avant-garde 7th arrondissement.

Valérie’s appreciation for originality and sophistication manifests itself in a service that is highly personalized and a line of jewellery that is exquisitely refined. Having participated extensively in the restoration of pieces latent with historical significance—remounting heirloom stones on contemporary settings and transforming entire pieces to suit more modern ambitions—Valérie has developed a unique system for the use “recycled” materials. It is this process of “haute recyclage” that continues to inspire Valerie, who’s creative whims are nourished by the some of the best artisinal liaisons in Paris.

Between art and poetry

Transcending with femininity, the delicacy of her designs is a reflection of her own image. Her lace rings iridescent forever black collection sun and snow, are light and airy. You also fall under the spell of the moonstone, leading piece in in the moon, for the subtlety of its reflections. The turquoise in summer dreams a prelude to summer vacations. Between art and poetry, her jewellery is a concentrated form of eternity.
