Armani limited edition jeans
For Autumn/Winter 2011-12 Giorgio Armani has designed a series of luxurious, limited edition pieces of Giorgio Armani apparel, including exclusive denim jeans.
Denim trousers for men and women
Introducing 5-pocket jeans for men in selvedge denim woven on original 1950s looms, which produce a softer, more durable fabric. The yarn is rope dyed, a process that produces a more attractive cotton, never flat and “ordinary”. The accessories (GA logo on the back waistband, buttons and rivets) in a gilded finish ensure that each garment has unique and precious features. Every pair of jeans is identified on the inside with an individual garment number.
For women, the 5-pocket jeans comes in Japanese denim that has been double dyed, while the inside features a lining in Sea Island cotton, a crop that grows close to the sea and possesses an extra long fibre that results in an extraordinary soft and fine feel. The button is dipped in gold to match the men’s version of this style. This denim is identified by a label in python skin on the rear waistband.
Limited editions
These limited editions include 450 exclusive pieces for men, and 250 for women; price is on request. Both models will be sold in specially designed, luxurious packaging from June 2011 in a selection of Giorgio Armani boutiques and prestigious sales outlets worldwide.
