Armani steps into the Boudoir
Armani closed Milan's Fashion Week with a spectacular collection for autumn-winter 2011-2012. The inspiration was cited as the “Boudoir” and we can see why… the Giorgio Armani women will be fluid, pink and voluptuous.
Trousers were cut off at the ankle and long skirts; the collection Giorgio Armani evokes contemporary values, with emphasis on a sense of movement. The fluidity of fabrics like silks and satins gave the impression of floating in a palette of mostly silver, black and a feminine dusty rose. Velvet was equally present in this collection for skirts, clutches and even for the shoes with their plexiglass heels. A success for Giorgio Armani and this luxury collection for contemporary women.
