Luxe-Magazine shares with you the latest on watches and wines.

Linde Werdelin continues the journey of evolution by announcing the launch of the SpidoLite II model. Featuring the three – part case construction, the SpidoLite II is crafted in titanium to further reduce the weight of the watch while ensuring the integrity of strength. The dial has also been skeletonised to reveal parts of the movement while a seconds sub-dial has been added at 9 o’clock and a date function has made its appearance for the first time in a SpidoLite model. SpidoLite II will be available in two versions of Titanium and Titanium Anthracite DLC in numbered series.

Price: from € 9360 available from November 2011

Wine Investment
Despite the report on the current wine investment climate that was released by fine wine exchange, Liv-ex, the Antique Wine Company believes that it is possible to outperform the index through careful stock picking and active portfolio management. The Antique Wine Company has shifted its own investment strategy in relation to the current economic climate. Its strategy is built around investing in younger vintages of value-driven brands such as Pontet Canet and Lynch Bages, coupled with older vintages of first growths. The theory is that the older vintages will always hold huge sway among both collectors and drinkers in established and emerging markets, as well as the fashion-driven consumers in emerging markets. The younger vintages of the value-driven brand will continue to grow in the emerging markets, as wine education increases and this will fuel the demand for these wines over the next five years.
