Porsche Boxster: lighter, bigger and faster
These adjectives perfectly sum-up the new generation of the Porsche Boxster, a car deeply enrooted in the philosophy of the German carmanufacturer. A solid and well designed roadster, ready to hit the asphalt.
A strong legacy
The car evolves but the spirit and the motivation remains untouched. Its new side air intakes are reminiscent of the mythical 550 Spyder, whereas the vertical contour in the front was inherited from the Porsche race cars of the 1970s. It is the intention to always blend todays design with the history of the German carmaker and this gives the new Boxster generation a unique and yet familiar look. When driving 120km/h down the freeway, a rear wing will automatically deploy in the back to reduce lift, giving it a powerful race look. The interior of the car is wider for a more comfortable driving experience. Now as for the raw power of the vehicle, just know that it will reach a 100km/h in only 5.7 seconds, impressive even for a Porsche. The legendary Porsche engine will top at around 260 km/h, which is more than you need, legally... Add an Auto Start function for switching off the engine automatically and therefore saving fuel and this makes the Porsche Boxster tomorrow’s perfect sports car.
