Tresserra's Joyero
The multi awarded Spanish designer Jaime Tresserra Clapél, the sole designer of the Tresserra Collection continues his journey in the world of interior wood design. One of the latest creations is a unique Jewelry cabinet, the Joyero.
A kind of Magic
The wooden creations of the Barcelona native show a Mediterranean sensibilty and seduce for the beauty of their forms, the fine quality of their materials and the delicacy of the finishes. With exceptional pieces like the Bolero billiard, the internationally acclaimed designer has yet come up with another timeless design creation, the Joyero. This Jewelry cabinet looks rather simple at first glimpse and is composed of a console and two chests stacked with hazelnut and dark brown leather. But the genius of this piece lies in its marquetry decoration, recreating the magician's trick boxes' "trompe-l'oeil" effect, revealing many compartments like "small magic items" as the designer says. And, as a center piece, the first four Joyeros will have a mirror with an inscription of the Dada Baroness, Elsa Von Freytag-Loringhoven " Let me appear this way until I become real ".
