Berthing the Peninsula

Peninsula hotels always had an ideal for transportation choices. Raging from Rolls-Royces, Rollers, MINI's, helicopters, bicycles and more, the collection now includes a 40 foot fast off-shore racing yacht, the Peninsula Signal 8.
Experience the thrill of racing

Far from being a recreation craft, the Signal 8 was designed by the KER 40 one design group. Used to design highly competitive boats, the company succeeded with it's eighth creation wich, since it's introduction in 2011, already won numerous competitions around the globe. Some might think the success relies within the name and the lucky number 8 , " ba " in Chinese rhymes with " fa " for fortune. And the crew members will push their luck all year long in competitions throughout Asia and at the prestigious summer racing season at Cowes, England. When not racing, Peninsula Signal 8 will be available for company-hosted sailings, including hotel guests, staff, Peninsula hotel partners and Peninsula Academy programmes, together with local charities and NGOs.The lucky VIP guests, will have the chance to closely follow a competition by joining the crew on board for races in Hong Kong or overseas, or else follow the action from the accompanying support boat. Another important step in Peninsula's transportation strategy.
