Win Three Nights at the cult Megeve Mont-Blanc Hotel

If you dream to revisit the 50’ies on top of the world, then, the Mont-Blanc Hotel is for you! To win a three-night half board stay in this exclusive spot where Jean Cocteau, Françoise Sagan, as well as Roger Vadim used to love to settle, just tell us in a few words what “Megève” sounds like for you, whether in the past or today. Good luck, and enjoy your holidays!
A "Terrible" address!

Remember : at the very beginning of the 50’ies, Georges Boisson takes charge of the Mont-Blanc Hotel management and adds a bar, immediately named "Les Enfants Terribles" by Jean Cocteau. Champagne, glitter and music are on the menu, and Megève soon becomes Paris « XXIst  arrondissement ». That’s the place where Roger Vadim shot some scenes for his Liaisons dangereuses, starring Gérard Philippe and Jeanne Moreau. Françoise Sagan and Fernandel both loved
to spend winter there, while native Emile Allais took the oxygen-deprived Parisians on the slopes for their first ski lessons. The myth was born! Since 1994, Jocelyne et Jean-Louis Sibuet have remodelled the Mont-Blanc Hotel, adding a dream spa to the Enfants Terribles restaurant, but keeping its soul intact. Their successful revamping has won the hotel the right to be on the list as one of the best spots to stay in Megève.

Higher and higher

The Mont-Blanc Hotel takes a jealous care of its reputation and its history: no more than 40 rooms, including 9 staterooms, drawings, lithographs and frescoes by Jean Cocteau gracing the living areas, the library, the corridors and the restaurant, resounding like some poet’s echoes. The bedrooms themselves are a perfect mixof British, Austrian and Savoyard tendencies, with light wood matching the chequered fabrics, the wingchairs, the antlers and the sofa plaid blankets which play like a perfect introduction to the tea-room, named The Georges, after Georges Buisson. Or you can pay a visit to the champagne bar, loaded with the best champagne brands, caviar and foie gras. In short, la crème de la crème!
