Ski has company in Colorado!

The highest State in the US, Colorado, has got 54 peaks culminating at 4,267 meters and sheltering 26 ski stations, boasting 300 sunny days a year. But there is more to it than skiing.





Van Gogh Exhibit at the Denver Art Museum


Until January 20, 2013, the Denver Art Museum presents 70 paintings and drawings by the artist, as well as some Toulouse-Lautrec and Camille Pissaro.







Denver Great Rodeo Festival


Next January 12 to 27, Denver will host its annual Rodeo Show. All the sport superstars will take part, and dog and sheep races, plus Mexican folk dances are on the program. Between 15,000 and 650,000 will attend, and Denver streets will be the place to be for the Texan cows parade.




Boarding the Polar Express train


Durango, the most “western” city in Colorado, has got a legendary train simply called The Train. From November 16 to December 28 of this year, it will take you for a magic journey, graced with hot chocolate, breads and treats, magic stories and a surprise visit from Santa Claus. All aboard!





Old cars in Grand Junction

Old car lovers, beware! The old automobiles Museum of Grand Junction, west of Colorado State, presents one of the most wonderful private car collections in the country. Among the exhibited treasures: a 1958 Haley Austin, and a 2007 Rolls Royce.
