Abarth 695 Edizione Maserati traditional Pontevecchio burgundy 500 Fiat has been the Mondial Autoshow star, with its pleasant looking lines and welcomed performances despite some odd qualities. Two monsters from the automobile world came together to launch this small city car: Karl Abarth et Alfieri Maserati. But this double creativity asks for a doubled price: the final invoice amounts to 38 500 €, which is the reason why the car is limited to 499 copies, for 499 happy owners.
A small sportscar
Inside, this small convertible hides a 1.4 T-Jet engine with 180 HP, and most of all powerful Brembo brakes (305mm discs). Outside, the 500 Fiat plays on “all sport”: aluminium pedals, leather seats, carbon fiber door bars, "Abarth Competizione" robotized gear shift with controls on the wheel, nothing is missing.
