Kenzo: Spring/Summer 2013
Kenzo takes us on a safari trip this season under the artistic directors’ supervision of Carol Lim et Humberto Leon. Its Spring/Summer collection plays on volumes and lightness, with raw fabrics and fluid cuts.
Jungle galore!
Asian jungle is the fashion theme at Kenzo: Indiana Jones’ stylish sportswear, with flowery prints and animal patterns, lightened by glowing green and ochre. For this 2013 Spring/Summer collection, the jungle spirit is translated into an urban language, using cold shades of blue or pale pink, structured by geometrical prints. Feminity is underlined here and there by lingerie pieces married with outdoor sportswear. Accessories such as rings, haircombs and cuffs, created with Delfina Delletrez, are also inspired by the animal world, thus creating a “wildlife” look. Chic and exoticism are enhanced by high, tied up boots, embroidered acid color heels mocassins, or shiny lizard, straw and metal sandals. Kenzo unleashed for this season!
