Pin High: Alstom Open de France

With its first tournaments organised more than hundred years ago, l’Alstom Open de France is the oldest and one of the most prestigious tournaments in the professional golf circuit of Continental Europe. This year this main golf event will take place from the 4th until the 7th of July 2013 in the National Golf Park of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines near Paris. Last year, the tournament welcomed more than 40,000 supporters.

The birth of a golf monument

It was in 1906 that the first International Championship, the Championnat de France Omnium, took place. During this first edition it was France’s champion, Arnaud Massy, whose name was engraved on the silver trophy. Little by little, the Championnat Omnium became Open de France, now ranking among the biggest international events.

Golf at its best

For Alstom, the French Open is an important public relations event, highly appreciated by its customers and partners who fly in from all over the world to attend this spectacular tournament as spectators. And this year’s edition is going to be extraordinary. Great players, including world stars of the European circuit and an exceptional golf course, welcoming the Ryder Cup 2018, are expected. An event not to miss, so come and join the world’s best players on the National Golf course from the 4th until the 7th of July 2013.
