Paradise in Seychelles Islands

Mahé, right now, please! Because it’s such a diverse destination! With so beautiful beaches they are on the top world hit parade! With so exuberant wildlife and flora that you want to lie immersed in Mother Nature! And simply because the Seychelles Islands make you dream…

The Garden of Eden

No doubt the gods have been generous to the Seychelles Islands: blue skies, wide lagoons whose waters are never wrinkled by violent winds, golden sand beaches, almost constant 29° temperatures with sun guaranteed 7 hours per day. All that for a mere 87.000 inhabitants and a hundred coral or granitic isles and islets! To keep Mother Nature happy, needless to say there is no mass tourism allowed in those islands: only 200.000 people are to be granted a visit within the next ten years. And the biggest challenge facing the Seychelles is accommodation: they have to improve the hotel infrastructures and the quality of the services, while trying to escape the cliché: sunbathing and farniente… Therefore highlighting the many activities on the islands.

Thanks, Mother Nature!

With 600 rare wood varieties, more than 75 plant species, two UNESCO World Heritage natural sites, exceptionally rich sea floors, the islands come number 1 for trekking and diving. From the Vallée de Mai (the only spot on earth to grow vanilla trees and house a few rare bird species) to the Ile de Cousin, sheltering the knock-knock birds, dwarf noddis and unknown puffins ; from Bird Island, a paradise for bird watchers, to the luxurious Denis island and the Aldabra atoll with its giant tortoises, the archipelago is simply a discovery and adventure ground for adults and children.

Bien manze kreol

French recipes, Chinese influences, Indian spices, African hospitality are the ingredients of the local cuisine, which pepper strongly flavoured, perfumed and smiling “bien manze kreol”. Fish eaters won’t be disappointed with a wide choice of tuna, “bourgeois”, octopussy and ray, straight from the sea, and served with sweet potato, rice and manioc marinated in exotic spices and herbs. A wonder!
Accommodationwise, you can choose from the plain, charming hotels with bungalows on the beach, to the luxury five stars hotels, or boarding houses and furnished villas to experiment the islands’ precious ways of life and enjoy the most beautiful beaches in the world.
