Dallas in Spring : 5 inescapable visits

Gone are the cow-boys and the Ewing family, Dallas is now turning to the nature, becoming an inescapable destination for Spring season. Botanic garden, museums and ballads in parks are waiting for you, at the heart of this city from Texas, both modern and bustling. Perfect to take a blast of fresh air with the whole family !

Hanging around at Klyde Warren Park

A quite picturesque park where the green spaces are in complete contrast with the urban infrastructures surrounding. Located next to the Art District, everyone can chill in it or enjoy a 20 minutes tour to discover, from the park, the most important buildings of Dallas Skyline. Kids can enjoy a game area while the olders can read, picnic, or take Zumba lessons ! Big crush for the food-trucks along the park.

Visit Dallas Arboretum

Impossible to stop by Dallas without visiting its botanic garden of 276 000m2. Romantic fountains, view on the lake and on the skyline, flower beds, singing birds and cherry-blossom trees are waiting for you.

Climb to the top of Reunion Tower GeO-Deck

Rise at 143m above the ground level and enjoy a view on the city's rooftops. If your smartphone's zoom is not that good, use a telescope to discover the city's surprises and architecture details. You can also enjoy the panorama from one of the tower's restaurants: the Cloud Nine Café and the GeO-Deck Express Dining and bar. Adrenaline is also part of the experience as a quite vertiginous glass elevator is bringing you at the top of the tower.

Learn at the George W.Bush Presidential Library and Museum

At the heart of the Southern Methodist University campus, this interactive and modern museum is dedicated to the life of George W.Bush, between archives, private pictures and reconstitution of the Oval Office (White House). Once the library visited, you can also discover the Politic Institute then chill in the Texas Rose Garden, green space inspired by the White House's rose garden.

Imagine yourself as an engineer at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Perfect family activity, the visit of the museum built in 2012 will be full of scientific and technology discoveries. With its design mixing ultra-modern architecture with natural ressources exploitation, the museum can be proud to host six learning laboratories, a planetarium and an area dedicated to children within one of its wings. When the sun shines, it's really pleasant to walk on the rooftop but, if it rains, 4D Movies and interactive scientific experiences will keep young and old busy.
