Frederique Constant New Heartbeat Timepieces
After the big announcement of Gwyneth Paltrow being their new global charity ambassador, Frederique Constant keeps announcing good news with the unveiling of two new watches, part of the iconic Heartbeat collection.
A legendary collection
Launched in 1994, the Heartbeat Collection is special because of the way it shows its mechanism. The Geneva-based watchmaker added an aperture at the position of the balance wheel to show the beauty of the mechanical movement of these Heartbeat watches. Back in time, this innovation was a true revolution that has unfortunately been copied since. That's why, back in 2004, the brand wanted to claim its inventive spirit again with its first ever in-house movement, which happened to be a Heartbeat Manufacture movement...
Two new models
Today, the brand is unveiling two new models, one with a refreshed dial, displaying the iconic Roman numerals and the signature aperture at 6 o'clock. The other holding an automatic manufacture caliber, called the FC-941. This last one features a 42mm case, a "date by hand" function at 12 o'clock, a navy blue dial and a movement made of silicium material. Sophisticated, isn't it ?
