L.RAPHAEL, the Swiss beauty brand specializing in skin care, recently opened an ultramodern clinic dedicated to men: the Men's Club Clinic. Based in its flagship establishment in Geneva, it offers gentlemen a personalized approach based on their personal preferences. Because yes, men also have the right to take care of themselves and to remain discreet on the subject. The demand for specific male beauty treatments and care has increased, but there are still just a few beauty clinics dedicated to men. L.Raphael’s Men’s Club Clinic offers its members personalized packages with high-quality treatments: anti-aging, anti-acne, combating hair loss, as well as waxing and weight loss. You're not a member but still want to pop in when visiting Geneva? Don't panic, you can get a day pass. See you in Geneva at the Men’s Club Clinic!

The Colbert Committee has welcomed 6 new members, including Devialet, which thus becomes the first company in its sector to join this iconic institution, whose mission it is to preserve know-how and promote sustainable French luxury abroad. Among the new members, we also find other prestigious names: Les Airelles Courchevel, Delamain, Château d´Estoublon, Féau Boiserie and the Institut de France, joining Hennessy and Cheval Blanc Courchevel, who joined at the beginning of the year. This 1901 law association founded in 1954 by Jean-Jacques Guerlain is more vibrant and relevant than ever, with 90 French luxury houses, 17 cultural institutions and 6 European members.

We missed this iconic Parisian department store so much, the one affectionately known as "the Samar". The luxury heaven for shoppers. After a renovation that lasted more than 16 years, the Samaritaine Paris Pont-Neuf finally reopened its doors on June 23. And we were also happy to find out that there are no less than 12 different dining spots! Under the glass roof of the Art Nouveau building, the "Travel" area combines over 1,000m2 of gastronomy, art and experiences. At the helm in the kitchen, the Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Mathieu Viannay, chef at Mère Brazier in Lyon. Additional to the store there is another major project of the Samaritaine, its first urban hotel, created in collabortion with the Cheval Blanc Paris brand. The architect Peter Marino imagined the decor of this 5-star hotel, featuring 72 suites, with a view of the river Seine. In the kitchen, the 3-star chef, Arnaud Donckele with at his side pastry chef Maxime Frédéric. With several atmospheres and culinary inspirations on the menu, in particular the Brasserie and cocktail bar Le Tout – Paris, Langosteria for Italian cuisine, the Limbar, the Table de Partage and Plénitude, the choice is yours! Also present on site is the Dînette Dalloyau Paris, the Brûlerie des Gobelins, Chez Bogato, Maison Layser, Ernest by Naoelle d´Hainaut and Eric Kayser, Depline Plisso. Bon appétit!
Vivienne Westwood: 80 years is worth celebrating!

On the occasion of Vivienne Westwood's 80th birthday, fashion journalist Alexander Fury ("Dior Défilés") wrote a very beautiful anthology of the designer's women's collections. The provocative Vivienne Westwood, always defying the notion of “conformism”, continues to shake things up, transform and challenge the world of fashion, together with her husband and longtime collaborator, Andrea Kronthaler. The designer duo wrote the texts for their own biographies, while Alexander Fury presents each collection. A wonderful view behind the scenes of this very creative fashion house. Special mention for the binding of the book, which uses the iconic pink and blue Westwood MacAndreas tartan, created for the Fall-Winter 1993 collection, whose name Anglomania, is a tribute full of humor to the collaborator and husband of Westwood. This tartant, produced by Lochcarron of Scotland, is officially recognized in the Scottish Register of Tartans.

One hundred new hotels is the least Qatar could do to host the FIFA World Cup in 2022! The Banyan Tree Doha recently opened. The Pullman Doha West Bay, JW Marriott West Bay and the Steigenberger Hotel will also soon be opened, adding extra accomodation to the existing 183 properties in Qatar. Note to skyline lovers: from its top 53rd floor, the JW Marriott West Bay offers a breathtaking view!
