With its Master Hybris Artistica Calibre 945 “Dragon,” Jaeger-LeCoultre reveals a new expression of its famous Calibre 945, enhanced by aesthetic refinement and the high technicality of the watch movement. Housed in a 750/1000 rose gold case, this limited edition of only five pieces is animated by the movements of the planets and the mythical power of the dragon: an exceptional movement with an exceptional design, where the dial and bezel proudly celebrate the decorative arts. All of this is set on an alligator leather strap with small-scale alligator lining.
If the multi-level dial is an allegory of nocturnal depths, this celestial theme serves as the backdrop to a pair of handcrafted gold dragons, adorned with hand-engraved scales, undulating around the domed starry cupola, drawing attention to the Cosmotourbillon that completes one full revolution of the dial in a sidereal day.
In its quest for the ideal sound, Jaeger-LeCoultre, which has already patented crystal gongs, trebuchet hammers, and a silent regulator, makes the constellations ring out in the minute repeater mechanism, further enhancing the romanticism of celestial time measurement.

1858 Geosphere O Oxygen Chronograph: Mont Blanc's tribute watch for the 80th birthday of mountaineer Reinhold Messner

He is a legend of mountaineering! Reinhold Messner is the first to have climbed all 14 peaks over 8000 meters, the first to summit Everest without supplemental oxygen and assistance, and the first to ski across the entire Antarctic continent! Mont Blanc pays tribute to this myth with its 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen Chronograph, a watch with a simple and sporty style.
We love the titanium case, the black ceramic bezel, and the dial (handcrafted with a special gratté-boisé technique), a nod to glaciers with a red sfumato tone imitating the texture of ice covering the glaciers, along with its network of crystals.
Referencing “zero oxygen,” the case is oxygen-free—the vacuum inside the movement prevents fogging caused by extreme temperature fluctuations. Special oils used to lubricate the components provide extreme precision in movement, allowing the watch to function in very hostile environments.
A small detail: flip the watch over to admire the unique colored engraving of K2 on the case back. The image used comes from a photo taken by Messner during his first ascent of this peak in 1979.

With the Royale Tourbillon, Pequignet defies the laws of gravity

Entirely hand-decorated, the dial reveals its high-quality finishes: chamfering, Côtes de Genève, perlage, circular graining, sandblasting, or brushing. A masterpiece! For the 5th anniversary of the Art in Time watch gallery in Monaco, the brand is releasing an anniversary chronometer limited to just five pieces: the FB 3SPC 4. A highly original watch, as Ferdinand Berthoud's president, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, founded Art in Time to bring together watch brands with common values of craftsmanship, independence, and originality. The idea? To offer collectors the chance to discover the rarest and most unique creations from the gallery’s 24 independent watchmaking houses. In this context, Ferdinand Berthoud and Art in Time present an exclusive series of five FB 3SPC chronometers in sandblasted titanium. Winner of the Chronometry Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in 2023, the FB 3 collection remains, to this day, the only one equipped with a cylindrical hairspring mechanical movement.
The color combination plays with boldness and sobriety: the sandblasted and rhodium-plated white movement matches the white dial, with blue numerals and minute track.
This chronometer comes with three interchangeable rubber straps (blue, blue alligator, and gray alligator). The back of each case is engraved with "Art in Time," "5th Anniversary," and "One of Five." A truly collector’s and exclusive watch!
