The charm of the Croisette, the proof is 3.14
Less than one hundred metres from the Croisette and the palaces, the old Savoy Hotel has had a make over. Even better, it has completely changed its allure and name to become the 3.14. Cannes in the style of Feng Shui.... Since its reopening, this hotel has been fortunate. With a name that reminds us of our maths classes, the 3.14 is interwoven with the magic of number. Embodying the five elements of Feng Shui (water, wood, fire, metal, earth) designed to aid channel positive energies, the hotel itself is inspired by exotic travels with the five floors representing different continents.
Explore the five continents
Karine Ellana-Partouche, a great traveller and interior designer of the hotel, wanted to share with you her passion for foreign cultures. At the 3.14, she entices her guests to discover the perfumes, the colours and ambiances of the five represented continents. On the first floor, welcome to a kitch and colourful America. The walls are wildly coloured in hues of the ocean and there are wafts of redwood with notes of cedar. In Africa, the windows are Moorish with oriental curtains. Oceania plays on freshness and natural materials. Coming now to the fourth floor, Europe is rich in fabric with velvets and padding, very Parisian Belle Epoque. The last floor is a tribute to Asia. It is Japan with a mix of modern design and tradition that welcomes you in a mixture of aromatic incense, patchouli and jasmine.
Swimming pool on top of the world
Just a stone's throw from the Croisette, the 3.14 will show you how to escape the crowd. Its Sky space, on the roof, is an ideal relaxing digression. A swimming pool edged with bamboo dominates the great blue sky, hammam, massages, relaxation...You will have to tear yourselves away to go and dine in the funky and dynamic beach restaurant. Another face of Cannes.
