Louis XIII returns to Masterpiece
The world’s premier luxury Cognac, Louis XIII, has confirmed their participation at the Masterpiece London 2011, the prestigious fair showcasing the best in luxury goods including art, antiques, fine wines & spirits and contemporary design, taking place from 30th June until 5th July 2011. Louis XIII will offer visitors the rare opportunity to experience the taste of Louis XIII, a unique cognac, aged for up to a century in unique barrels known as “tierçons” for ultimate depth and intensity, taking four generations of cellar masters to elaborate a single decanter. Each handmade Louis XIII crystal decanter is created by five expert craftsmen and finished with 24 carat gold.
Visitors interested in learning more about the 137 year history and creation of Louis XIII Cognac are invited to attend a master class held on the 1st of July, by Alexandre Quintin, where the participants will be guided through the aromatic complexity of this most prestigious cru in Cognac with a unique blend of over 1,200 eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from Grande Champagne. A piece of history you shouldn’t miss.
Masterpiece London 2011 will take place on the South Grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3 from Thursday 30th June until Tuesday 5th July 2011.
