The Mauritius Tourism Minister decided, to make up for low season's influx, to launch the Mauritius Shopping Fiesta. A unique month long event involving all Mauritius tourism actors, that will most certainly make this month of July unforgettable
July, Mauritius here we come!
We all heard some of our friends say "Why go to Mauritius in July? It's winter overthere." Yes, but the Mauritius winter only has the name in common with what we call winter in Europe and America. The temperatures remain above 68°F and nothing stops you from swimming in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. But, because of this misconception, the usually crowded white sand beaches are less full in July, as well as the luxurious bungalows by the water. This is why the government came up with the idea of a Mauritius Shopping Fiesta, a month where everything, from plane tickets to the hotels, activities and of course shopping will be subject to important discounts.

Among the many things that make Mauritius so special are the superb luxury hotels, built elegantly along the coast line, they are definitely an attraction in itself. These luxury havens decided to join the Mauritius July Shopping Fiesta and prestigious names such as the Constance Group, the Sun Resorts, the One & Only and many others offer incredible prices. Since it's a shopping festival, of course the numerous malls of Mauritius, including the trendy Bagatelle Mall, will also have many discounts. International brands such as Apple are also participating andeven Ipads will be sold at much cheaper rates. On top of this, adventure parks, nautical activity centers, museums and restaurants offer amazing discounts to make this month of Julyin Mauritius truly unique.
