Kenzo's Jungle Jap
The story of the Japanese brand continues without Kenzo Takada but his spirit remains. In the new Kenzo Resort 2013 collection, the touch of the fashion designer is strong and vivid and is a reminder of his first 1970sJungle Jap store.
Colors and Motives
Using Kenzo's inspiration from his many travels, the collection explores the trekking attitude and explodes into an urban wardrobe with innovative shapes and prints. Jackets and coats, with large volumes, zippers, drawstrings and snaps enables them to transform and adapt to each and every women. The motives also play a very important role in this collection like the hybrid leopard camouflage print, available in various hues of magenta, cream, and hunter green. The logo is also revisited featuring leaping tigers and is playfully printed on shift dresses. For the modern and urban touch the No 18 handbag incorporates a built in iPad case.
