Alberta Ferretti’s 2013 Spring/Summer collection plays on contradiction: clothes from different traditions come together within the same codes. Looking like a contemporary uniform, the wardrobe is tirelessly reinventing itself and recreates the 90’ies atmosphere of a private club. A real ode to freshness!
The new feminity
This ode to Spring is combining masculine and feminine in a totally new look, two opposite adjectives, but intertwined in a balanced and strong contemporary line. Feminity is, of course, the highlight of the collection: women’s silhouettes are emphasized by corsets and iconic lingerie with military stripes and brocade. Fabrics get the main roles with their precise and sensual lines enhancing women’s bodies. The whole line uses delicate silk in several shades: cherry, lavender, ivory and periwinkle blue
