Louis Vuitton: Prefall 2013
Either after Jeanne Moreau in Truffaut’s film « La mariée était en noir (The Bride wore black)», or Romy Schneider, and even Caillebote, Louis Vuitton inspiration sources are never-ending… As a result: a glamour, gracious and timeless Prefall collection, where velvet, lace, feathers and strass get the best, as in the XIXth century delicate wardrobes. Oversize coats
Still in the precious spirit of the XIXth century, the coats keep their 2013 military and tight fitting cuts, but the rounded and voluminous shoulders turn the proportions over, making the line a real surprise. More classical: the large neo-aristocratic woollen cape gives the rather strict and masculine lines of the collection a feminine and glamorous touch.
