Hotel Bellechasse
In the heart of Paris, nearby Orsay Museum, surrounded by elegant aristocratic building and only a couple minutes away from Saint-Germain-des-Pres, it’s galleries and it’s prestigious Cafe de Flore, the Bellechasse hotel is a delightful place entirely «dressed» by famous French designer Christian Lacroix.
Accommodations :
Playing with a palette of ambiences and influences, perpetuating a skillful balance between audacity and tradition, Christian Lacroix created 7 universes throughout the 34 rooms of this small but audacious hotel.
On the ground floor, Persian and Arabics motives give the room a typically Patchwork style.
Saint Germain prevails on the first floor with it’s golden leaf effect on walls and ceilings giving at a resolutely contemporary aspect.
Above, Tuileries inspiration gives a more rustic atmosphere to rooms decorated with large stripes, folk motives in black and white.
A touch of Britain strikes in this floor inspired by the TV serie The Avengers with it «swinging London» carpet and twed on the walls.
The Mousquetaires style emphasizes the neighborhood’s history with it’s rough stones and frescos on the walls.
Under the roofs, a neo-futuristic scene takes place in bright and primary colors for what Lacroix refers to as Jeu de Paume style.
Quai d’Orsay pays tribute to the nearby dock by using high pile carpet, dark wood and astrological frescoes on the walls.
Restaurants :
A French style breakfast is available in rooms for those of you seeking for an intimate moment. The others will be able to enjoy it in the superb hotel dining room.
